  Currently here. Could do with a clean up. Would be great if someone would mow the camp site. Still having a fun time. Staff if any aren't very helpful.

  Excellent camping spit but don't expect too much from the staff. The freshwater river (Yabba Creek)is an excellent swimming spot with an island you can swim out to and jump off. The provided toilet and shower blocks are basic and functional and will get busy between 4 and 7 pm. They charge per person per night ($16 for adults and $8 for children)

  We have just spent 3 days here and i can honestly say, we will be back again.. It was peaceful and very laid back. The amenities were clean and the spacious park its self was kept great. The owners/office people were friendly and they certainly don't come out to annoy you. All round very enjoyable time relaxing, kayaking..

  Edit one year later: $28 per night for our unpowered site. We chose a great spot large flay grasses overlooking the water. Plenty to choose from mid week. Showers were great for us, hot and lots of pressure. I'd be concerned that the few facilities would cater for a full camp. The rubbish already was piled high beside the bins. I can't see the council picking up the dozens of bags beside the overfull bins. Grass was overdue for a mow. Still a great spot for relaxing, swimming and kayaking mid week. We loved our time but would advise caution.

  Great for families. We had lots of fun kyaking and watching kids swim to island climb to top and jump in the river. Lots of space for all manner of campers. Fires permitted.
